The Franchising Process

Westside Pizza strives to ensure a smooth process for individuals interested in learning more about franchise opportunities. Review our steps below to get started. It generally takes 45-75 days to complete this process.

1. Contact Us

The first step is to fill out an information request form. One of our franchise consultants will contact you after you submit it to verify your information. During this initial conversation, we can answer your questions and determine your interest in taking the next step.

2. Our Conversation

During this stage, we’ll gather the necessary information to determine what your financial capabilities are and which Westside Pizza concept you are the most interested in. Our first objective is to understand who you are (e.g. what your past skills are, what type of lifestyle you desire, and what your overall goals are).

The goal of the organization is to award the franchise system to you. Our approval committee is not looking for someone to “sell” a franchise to – we are looking to gain an ethical and responsible partner that believes in the hospitality lifestyle and has a genuine customer service mentality.

3. Potential Franchisee Questionaire

Next, you’ll want to complete an informational questionnaire for us to review. This will help us determine the next step in the process. We will not ask for official financial documents such as your social security number or driver’s license number at this time. There is no obligation to purchase a franchise after filling out this questionnaire – it’s simply a visual confirmation of our previous discussion.

4 .Review of Franchise Documents (FDD)

Once you receive an FDD (Franchise Disclosure Document) from us, you will need to thoroughly examine the contents and seek answers to any questions you may have. Our franchise support team is happy to assist you with additional questions. Our FDD does contain an Item 19.

5. Call With Our President

This is a time to have a short personal talk with our President. We are very interested in getting to know our potential franchisees and aligning our goals in a way that benefits our future relationship.

6. Consultation With Attorney

As an added step, we suggest a 2nd pair of eyes to review your information if you feel it necessary on your end. Assume there will be a cost associated with that review.

7. Confidential Information Request Form

Next, you’ll need to complete a Confidential Information Request Form. In this form, you will be providing personal information including driver’s license, social security number, past work experience, health questions, and financial statements. This will all be sent to a third-party company for evaluation. This will help the board make the final decision of whether you will be offered a franchise.

8. Decision Time

Once you have gone through all the previous steps, it is time for you to make a decision. Should you choose to own a franchise, you can be confident that you have taken the necessary steps toward owning a Westside Pizza franchise. If both parties agree, paperwork will be submitted to the Approval Committee to seek the award.

9. Attend a Discovery Day (Optional)
