What is Westside Pizza's 18" Death by Pizza Challenge?

CAN YOU CONQUER THE DEATH BY PIZZA CHALLENGE?
There are over 35 Westside Pizza locations throughout the Pacific Northwest, and almost all of them offer a Death by Pizza Challenge. Westside Pizza designed this challenge to test the limits of your stomach. If you are up to the task, you will be presented with a massive, fully-loaded 18-inch pizza topped with five meats (pepperoni, Canadian bacon, sausage, beef, and bacon) and a number of veggies (pineapple, mushrooms, black olives, onions, and green peppers). The challenge is to finish the entire pizza—including all of the toppings—on your own, in under one hour. If you succeed, you will be part of an exclusive group of winners passionate about great-tasting pizza.
RULES FOR WESTSIDE PIZZA’S DEATH BY PIZZA CHALLENGE
Every challenge comes with some guidelines, and here are ours:
- You must finish an entire grand Death by Pizza by yourself in under an hour
- No topping substitutions are allowed
- The Death By Pizza Challenge can only be won once in a lifetime
- You must be 18 years old or older to participate
- You are not allowed to leave the seat once the challenge is started
- You must be able to keep all of the food down
PRIZES FOR WINNING THE DEATH BY PIZZA CHALLENGE
Aside from bragging rights and the untold glory of being a Death by Pizza conqueror, winners also receive a number of awesome prizes. If you beat Westside Pizza’s challenge, you could win(depending on location):
- A free pizza equal to the worth of the pizza eaten
- A sweet t-shirt
- A cash prize
- A spot on Westside Pizza's Wall of Fame
In some cases, if you are a location's first winner or if you break the time record, you can win an extra $50 cash ($100 total).
